The procedure of Structed Light 3D Scanning and Editing

1. Select Scan-type(Ex. of Ein-Scan-Pro):
   • Fixed Mode:
     • Set the scanner into a fixed position and scan.(For only small and bright objects but accurate)
   • Fast Hand-held Mode:
     • Hold the scanner in the user’s hand and scan.(Scanning data is easy to lose and not accurate, but can scan the big object(s))
   • Hand-held Mode:
     • Like the procedure of the Fast Hand-held Mode, but need extra fixed point stick on the objects.(Slow but accurate)
2. Scanning(Ex. of Fixed Mode):
   • Make sure the object and the scanner is fixed.
   • Setup the parameters and begin the scan.
   • Scanning!
   • Adjust the model and output the mesh file.
     
     
     
3. Model repairing:
   • Use the Autodesk Meshmixer to repair the mesh.
4. Editing and recreation:
   • Use Rhinoceros to edit and create as you wish!
     
5. Finished:
